Ira Glick
Dr Glick is Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford Medical School and Director of the Schizophrenia Research Clinic at Stanford Hospital and internationally recognized psychiatric researcher, educator and clinician. He is also Board Member oft the International Society for Sport Psychiatry (ISSP), recognized as one of the pioneers of the field of sports psychiatry and worked with the NBA and NFL. His work fousses on the psychopathology and treatment of schizophrenia and long-term treatment outcome. Dr Glick has published over 200 articles/book chapters, eight books plus three model, psychopharmacology curriculums. He is one of the editors of the ASCP Model Psychopharmacology Curriculum for Training Directors and Teachers of Psychopharmacology in Psychiatric Residency Programs. This resource is used in residency programs in the US. Dr Glick is one of the editiors of «The ISSP Manual of Sports Psychiatry».
